Great utility
Before you get on here and rate this app poorly, please remember that you got it for free and it mostly does what it is suppose to. You did not spend $350 bucks on some professional recording software, so dont expect the same end with this app.
That rant said, the app is great. The only problem is that sometimes it does not buffer correctly to lay down additional tracks. If you have this problem and get some good takes on here, download Audacity (free also) on your computer and line it up yourself. It is a little annoying cause you have to convert these to a wav file first to get them into audacity, but then you get much more power to edit your tracks with.
Your phone is not a billion dollar condenser mic so dont expect it to be. The quality of sound is what you would expect from a phone. If you move your headphones a lot while recording, your phone will pick that up (this would have nothing to do with the app).
Sorry to be so crass, but I hate to see how self righteous people get in rating free software just because their singing to Katy perry didnt sound right. I rarely leave reviews, but I appreciate what the developers did with this app and felt compelled here. They do need to refine it so that everything syncs correctly, more consistently, but they have done some brilliant ground work here.
I notice that the syncing gets worse with multiple takes. But then again that could just be my frustration talking.
Thanks.
