Multi Track Song Recorder Examine App

Je découvre tout juste, mais cest déjà trop bien! Peut être grâce à la simplicité... Il me manque: un peu deffets; montage basique et retour en arrière possible; une vue paysage; ergonomie. Cest tout. Sinon ce serait lusine à gaz habituelle et perdrait tout son charme dovni sonique...! Et deviendrait payant! Merci au(x?) dév!

Fait gratuitement ce que dautres applis payantes font. Permet une sauvegarde et un export par email en aiff. Dommage quil ny ait pas de bounce mais bon, pour le prix... Très facile dutilisation, permet de sauvegarder quelques idées de répètes ou de création soudaine sans avoir à ouvrir le Mac, brancher la carte son, attendre le chargement des plugins, ouvrir le nouveau projet, le nommer, brancher linstru... Pour finalement avoir perdu la mélodie que lon a en tête. He he. Très pratique.

Application vraiment très bien, gratuite, qui permet de manière simple et assez basique mais très efficace denregistrer 4 pistes différentes... Idéale pour le travail, la sauvegarde didées où que lon soit... Quelques bonnes options pour exporter les fichiers... Bravo!

If you got a real simple mind like mine you’re gonna love this app. I am so happy I found it. Obviously just for recording ideas and sharing if you want to, but yeeah, this app is dope. Dunno why it’s reviewed so low

How do I record a second track if it doesn’t work with my AirPods?

If you just want to use it as a sketch pad and record some song ideas it’s fine. I have over a hundred recordings on it and have been using it since 2016. It’s not like using a real DAW but it’s convenient for what it is. The export function works well too, I can upload my tracks to my email, Discord, text message, it works just fine. I highly recommend it, and thank you to the developers.

It’s fine for a free app other than when I record two different tracks (one guitar, one singing) and I try to export them it gives me an option of “separated” or “merged”.... great right? Except when you click “merge” it pretends like it merges the track, but then it doesn’t actually do it and when it goes through it ends up sending on of the tracks solo. No idea how this bug happens but oh well I guess

Used to use this app and it worked great. Went to download it again and it’s impossible to navigate. They force you to try and buy the full version for $4.99, and if you decline the Apple purchase you are then just stuck on an advertisement with no way to continue. Experienced while using an iPhone X.

Unfortunately not worth the .99 premium, and not even worth using for free

i recorded a song and i saved and exported it as an email. i looked in my files folder, my photos and my voice memos, but i could not find where my song was. it did not get emailed either. im overall confused as to where my song disappeared and how i can record and save a new song and be able to locate it on my phone. very frustrating to use.

I just tried to sing three tracks but all I hear loudly is track 1 and it gets rerecorded every track. So it just gets louder and more echoey with every track recording. I tried turning the volume down as I recorded subsequent tracks, but I need to be able to hear what I’m singing with.

So I was trying to record a song. I go back to it to find out that one track that I ALREADY recorded will now not play. So now I have to re record it because the app is stupid. Great.

I don’t like giving apps low review because I know they worked hard on it but...this app use my microphone and would turn off. So it could hear everything I did. I couldn’t turn off the microphone (even though I could do it in settings) but I would like to be able to turn off the microphone through the app but I had to go to settings to turn it off. But it may be different for you so don’t take my word too seriously. I hope YOU enjoy the app.🙂

It works fine except for the the metronome. Didn’t notice any echo because I use headphones and I expect a little latency. It’s a sketch pad not a recording studio. You will not be recording your next album with this app. This is a phone app. I’m writing this more for the software person than consumer because it’s free. The metronome kinda went bonkers when setting the tempo but after a few seconds it settled into a rhythm. When recording the first track it worked fine but when recording the second track it wigged out again. It has about as much rhythm as a 4 year old with an old fashioned typewriter or marbles rolling down a hardwood staircase. Maybe it’s trying to take a solo? I don’t know but it is not subtle. It’s not “just a little off” it is definitely a bug. It did not seem to effect the recording however. I turned off the click and have just been using the app like that. Meh, whatevs. I don’t mind the ads and it was free. It is something you may want to address though.

Can the devs add the option to import files from folders on our phone other than just iTunes? For collabs it sort of defeats the purpose if the other party can’t just quickly get the track from their email (instead having to sync to their iTunes). Audiobridge allows this. Other than that it’s perfect. Thanks!

Kinda useless. Metronome stumbles. Would not recommend

I tried to record a rhythm track then solo over that but it just kept making duplicate tracks. I actually have an old school 4 track recorder you play on track 1 and do whatever you want on track 2 3 or 4 and can solo over your rhythm on all 3 other tracks... I couldn’t make that one do anything but repeat the rhythm?’vbb

No problems with this app until it crashes whenever you try exporting tracks.

I love this app, but my problem is, how do I ensure that the tracks will play simultaneously perfect, sometimes I do all this work to make a song, then when I play it there’s a delay in one of the tracks

when i used the metronome option, i noticed that i heard two beats going. when trying to get two instruments to have the same strumming pattern it was off by a little bit..it ruined my recording. i really really love this app but it crashes frequently and is out of sync

I think if one was recording or mixing songs it would be ok. I was hoping to load four waves from dropbox to preview the raw recordings from the studio - four hosts, four tracks, it seemed perfect but you can’t load files from the file browser, only your iTunes library. Shame too, this would have been great...

After updating the app, I can’t even rewind my playback and all my music freezes. Now I see why the developer tweaked the app...to make you purchase it smh!!! Don’t download

Great app until this last update. I used to use this app to record rough drafts of new material. I would open the app, press record, go directly to my notes, work out kinks, end the recording, add layers on top, save the recording, upload to Dropbox. Now, I can start recording, and it only gives me about 10 seconds before it crashes completely. Total waste, totally disappointed.

I love this app, and I use it a lot for YouTube videos. But ever since the v3.1.4 update, I have not been able to use this app, and here’s why: So after updating the app, I opened it and right away I could tell something was wrong. Instead of the usual Recording 1, 2, 3, and 4, there was Recording 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. At first I thought, “Well, the developer must have added more recording space! This is useful,” but then as I selected Record, it kicked me right out of the app. I decided then to open it back up (Recording 5, 6, etc. were still there), so I opened the main menu, selected Import saved recordings, tapped the one I wanted, and surprise surprise; it kicked me out of the app. Please fix this! Cannot play tracks in background??

I was very disappointed because when I’m on the app , the sound won’t come through my head phones . So if I want to add another track I can’t listen to my first track on the headset

This could be a fine little app for simply and quickly recording some sounds and making loops, but the metronome is just crap. It’s not a consistent sound and is super jumpy and throws you off. I don’t know why a simple rhythmic sound is so hard to create for this.

When I think of new song ideas and I'm not at home and can't use Audacity to record tracks I need something reliable that doesn't lag by half of a second. This app is not it... Also, Audacity should really make an app.

First downloaded this app back in 2011 to record acoustic guitars and percussion, so simple, so easy to use, highly recommend.

Fix fix fix fix

This is useful for live recordings and overdubs. Overall it’s very simple and difficult to get solid recordings. For a free multi track app it’s very useful if you need to track something quick and easy. DO NOT “upgrade to pro” all the extra features are useless, and the only thing nice about it is it removes ads. I recommend it because it does have its uses, but is not a viable option to get legitimate recordings with.

I want to love this app but tracks being out of sync makes it kind of impossible to use. I’ve been trying to work around the problem for like 2 years. Still just as frustrating.

This is a joke to anybody that is trying to sound good it sounds slow or the beat is too loud it's a shame you call your selves a recording app this is horrible

This app is compatible with iOS VoiceOver, which is the way we blind people use iPhone and such. I have been searching for and accessible tracking app, and I finally found it. A word of advice to other reviewers: use a separate microphone and pair of headphones to prevent echo. Of coarse you’ll be dealing with echo if you use built in hardware. Thanks again for being considerate, and making this app accessible.

App continues to run in background after closing. Thus takes control and mutes all other audio output, games, YouTube... Had to delete it to shut it down.

You can’t merge tracks or export them

Every time I exit the app I am left with a red bar at the top of my screen. Presumably the app is still functioning. I seem unable to turn this off. Does anybody know how please?

I'm a professional drummer and record for a living, this isn't an input thing... The tracks are often a 16th note off. And the metronome doesn't keep time. I love the app idea and thought "maybe pro will actually work" so purchased. NOPE. Same thing. Unfortunately, I have to recommend against this one.

Usually just as your finishing a 4 part harmony you’ve been working on is when it decides to crash and you lose everything you’ve been working on. Also it never matches up. It’s really hard even with the metronome(which doesn’t keep a consistent beat) to make everything sync up. Really annoying. Oh well at least I didn’t pay for it....

It's fine. It's what you might expect for being a free app, and I can't be too greedy here. That said: the ability to edit each track (it takes time for me to get a hand from my guitar to the "stop" button and that gets my tracks out of rhythm) would be HUGE.
