Very useful application and I really love this! I often use this when I do a cappella by myself. However there is a problem in Mix-down function after the latest upload. The device Im using is iPhone5. Because I want to use this application as long as possible, please check the system. Thank you! :) This application is awesome!

if you have an idea in mind, and dont have time and environment to write it, you can use this tool. just say your bass line by voice, your beats, and your melody. you have a reminder for later use :)

when you recording new track you hearing it with a big latency and this is a big problem

Tested on my iphone 4, it works fine. Very few controls, but really smart!

This app is supposed to allow you to record one track, then record another over the first one. There are a few problems that rend the app unusable: 1) the tracks dont even synchronize when you play them together. I played a guitar piece on one track, then played the same piece on the other track along to the first track to assure they were timed together. The synchronization is so off that sounded like an echo instead of two guitars playing at the same time. This is not due to the mic picking up the original track and creating feedback or a genuine echo, as I am using studio headphones. 2) the metronome doesnt even make noise while Im tracking, so its essentially useless for keeping time. You have to kinda guess when to come in. Not like that would matter since the tracks dont sync up. Useless.

Liked it, but in the output file the tracks were always out of sync no matter what I did. Works good except for that and that is important!

Ive tried everything I can think of but there is still a delay in the tracks. When I record multiple tracks with vocals (harmony) it drags and sounds horrible! Please please fix this!!!!

So considering its free, this is a great little app. However, its rendered useless thanks to one little bug as others have mentioned...when you play back the song or export it, the tracks are suddenly out of sync and makes it sound like I have no idea to keep time. Awful. But aside from that, there are no other problems. Very convenient and nifty.

I love this app, especially for getting really rough musical ideas recorded to come back to later and refine.

The app is difficult. I mess up once and I have to start all over again or I just dont know how to change it giving that it is not easily used. Never the less, I do not recommend getting this app but if you find a way to work it congratulations.

Whats the point of this app, honestly? it doesnt deliver on its most basic premise, as a functioning 4 track recorder. The tracks get out of sync every time, so anything you end up recording sounds like a jumbled, idiotic mess, which is what the work environment of MTSR looks like. This app is a cheeseburger restaurant that only serves cold hot dogs. Its an Amazon.com order that isnt the product you ordered. Its a new iPhone that has a broken screen already so you cant navigate. Get it together
