Multi Track Song Recorder App Reviews

Useless now, used to be great

This app used to be great for sketching songs on the go. No whenever I try to record more than one track they are all out of sync with each other by about 50 ms. This has rendered the app useless. Please update.

Tracks STILL dont stay synced...

Even after the update saying the track sync issue was fixed, its just as bad as ever. Upon opening a file, itll play through fine the first time. If you start it over or try to export it though, the tracks are out of sync. Incredibly frustrating. Im about to give up on you.

Does not sync

This app has so much potential, but alas, it does not sync at all

Latency makes recording multiple tracks impossible

This app has a lot of potential, but is made totally useless by the fact that you cant adjust latency. If you record 4 tracks, each track will start like 0.1 seconds after than the one before it. By the time you get four tracks playing at once, its a total jumbled mess. Solution: add a latency adjuster. Or if possible, an automatic latency detector.

Merging Problems

The app closes when I try to send a mix to a track also I cant help feeling like the tracks are still just a little off-sync.

Uploading

Ok will heres my wustion hopefully someone would please answer this flr me but i been using this for like a year and i dont know how to save it on my phone not the app. Just so you know it would mean a lot if it can just save in your music.

Please Help

I just recorded a two track song and it sounded great and clear... But then I emailed it to myself to send to friends and When I played the exported one in the email it was crackly/staticky throughout.why is that?? And it was like that when I was sending it via sms messgae to people too.

Lost its purpose

This app used to be wonderful. Now the tracks dont sync with one another. It had become a worthless app. It doesnt do what it says it does.

Cool idea but lag issue

This app is no good. Ive been experiencing latency issues with this. Major lag when recording multiple tracks. Fix this and it would be a great app.

Useless

Although I allowed it access to my microphone, the app never once recorded any sound, despite giving all signs that it was starting and stopping a recording.

Its good

I cant save it in my camera roll when I want to. The rest, I love it.

Terrible

Doesnt do its job. Tracks arent properly synced. A horrible crap app that needs to be fixed.

piece of sh

back in the good days this app was amazing. now everything is off beat, and about 5 minutes ago I spent 45 minutes recording quick verses for 6 songs and after each one I would email it to my friend. well nothing sent and I didnt save anything because it was all just quick verses to mix. Also you cant choose where to start recording so you have to restart from the beginning if you mess up one time. Dont waste your time on this garbage like I did Im going to find a better app.

Sync issue

My app is up to date however there is still definitely a sync issue as of October 2016.

SYNC SYNC SYNC

I guess yall just gave up on this app. How do you manage to downgrade with each "upgrade". The app is useless unless youre only recording on one track; each consecutive track gets more out of sync.

Tested it works!

Works well! Import from library feat is great! Export works.

Great Fun!

Just like using my old 4-track recorder from 20 years ago! Very easy to use and great support from the developer. Hopefully the newer version will enable use with my Bluetooth speakers.

Great utility

Before you get on here and rate this app poorly, please remember that you got it for free and it mostly does what it is suppose to. You did not spend $350 bucks on some professional recording software, so dont expect the same end with this app. That rant said, the app is great. The only problem is that sometimes it does not buffer correctly to lay down additional tracks. If you have this problem and get some good takes on here, download Audacity (free also) on your computer and line it up yourself. It is a little annoying cause you have to convert these to a wav file first to get them into audacity, but then you get much more power to edit your tracks with. Your phone is not a billion dollar condenser mic so dont expect it to be. The quality of sound is what you would expect from a phone. If you move your headphones a lot while recording, your phone will pick that up (this would have nothing to do with the app). Sorry to be so crass, but I hate to see how self righteous people get in rating free software just because their singing to Katy perry didnt sound right. I rarely leave reviews, but I appreciate what the developers did with this app and felt compelled here. They do need to refine it so that everything syncs correctly, more consistently, but they have done some brilliant ground work here. I notice that the syncing gets worse with multiple takes. But then again that could just be my frustration talking. Thanks.
